Comments on the firm's part-time policy:
Part-time
associates remain eligible for bonuses, which are pro-rated according
to their part-time work/compensation percentage.
The
minimum percentage of full-time hours that a part-time attorney
must work is 50%.
The
2006 report "Presumed
Equal: What America's Top Women Lawyers Really Think About Their
Firms," surveyed about 16,000 women lawyers and received
about 4,000 anonymous responses from women practicing in 105 law
firms. Debevoise ranked in the top 10.
